Welcome to Week 2 classmates and any other readers I might have accumulated! As this week begins I am definitely less overwhelmed and excited to learn more. I am using my reader to stay organized with all of my online pages I am following.
My question now though, is Diigo another form of a feed reader? Or is it considered a different platform entirely? Interested to hear opinions on that!
Feel free to leave any Diigo facts as well for any others who are "Diggin Diigo"!
Oooh! Thanks for sharing the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteI guess you could treat it as a place to read feeds created by others. However, it's considered a social bookmarking tool. We'll be getting into that topic more next week. In the meantime, enjoy exploring it! :)
Anytime! I thought it was useful for newbies! A social bookmarking tool is exactly what I need since I don't always have the time to read something when I find it, and although I give myself a mental note to come back, I don't always return.
ReplyDeleteThank you Nicole for sharing this! I just made a Diigo account and I really don't know what to do there. Literally lost at the first page. Will start to use some tips and tricks from the video! From watching this video it also leads me to another video (also from Lynda.com) that explain the use of Diigo in the classroom.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nadia! I'm still figuring it out as well, this is a fun learning adventure on the web. I enjoy how everything can stay in one place on Diigo and that I can come back to see things I tagged.
